Trump make me Sad – But Have Faith and Look to the Lord

Things that really make me cry and worry about.

First of all, I get so stressed when I read or hear the news each day.  There are times when I’ll go a couple of weeks not listening just to keep my sanity.

I don’t understand how people and more importantly GOP elected officials can support Trump and not condemn the way that he speaks.

My email signature is the following:

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”   In other WORDS – Love all People Regardless!!!!!!

I mean it – We really need to LOVE all people – We are all Brothers and Sister – We need to really love each other and wish only the best to one another.  Yes, we may disagree – however we can respectfully disagree –  What I see in this country is a total disrespect for anyone that is not like us – sort of a mob mentality – and the leader in this mess is Donald Trump and those in congress that support him and let him get away with it.

We all can agree that bullying is bad – we tell our children not to bully others and if our child is bullied it pains us so. But here we have the President of the United States bullying whoever he disagrees with –

The President is to be an example of what proper behavior is –

It pains me so that in last night in his rally he pumped the people up so much that they were shouting “Send Her Back” How terrible is that!!  How can anyone say that he is not a fearmonger- he is spreading hate – and discontentment.

No matter who he is attaching – all that shows many people is that it’s OK to do that –

And sad to say, it has gone too far and I see it only getting worse –

We live in a county that many people have forgotten how it all started – The founding Fathers (and Mothers) rebelled against the current government ( the British)  and started a new Nation – Please study what they did and why they did it –  Read the Declaration of Independence  – The Constitution and the Big of Rights.  Nowhere does t say to hate one another or spread fear.

It is written that “George Washington was opposed to political parties because he felt that they posed a significant risk to the government. … Washington’s fear was that, as separate parties developed, each would eventually seek to gain more power over the other.”

And that is exactly what is happening now –

So my answer is to show Love in place of Hate – Have no contention with one another  –

“And he commanded them that there should be no
contention one with another, but that they should
look forward with one eye, having their hearts knit
together in unity and in love one towards another”
(Mosiah 18:21).
